PROJECTS

Pedro Hill has several projects to include in his musical career. All of these projects play an important role in Hill's music. Only one of these projects has been completed ("John Art" project). Here is a list of Pedro Hill's projects:

"John Art" project

Songs of
adventure

In 2017, Pedro started recording songs under the pseudonym "John Art" (the pseudonym consists of the names of two of Pedro's favorite artists: "John Lennon" and "Art Garfunkel"). This project was developed from another project, "Jland", which was discarded.
In 2017, Pedro started the project and recorded a cover of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's song “Blue Moon” (this was the first recording on Pedro Hill's musical trajectory).

Gradually, the melodies were recorded for the "John Art" project. Pedro also made compositions under this pseudonym. He rarely sang during the project, because the main focus was on instrumental melodies.

Some of the recordings Pedro made during the project were “The Toy Piano” (composer: Pedro Hill), “Oh Susanna” (composer: Stephen Foster) and “Everybody Twist” (composer: Pedro Hill).

In 2018, Pedro composed several fun and inspiring songs about adventures. Some of these songs include: “Não Posso Ficar Parado” (music and lyrics by Pedro Hill), “Dia Feliz” (music and lyrics by Pedro Hill) and “Canção Marítima” (music and lyrics by Pedro Hill).

In 2020, Pedro Hill's first album, "Swingin 'Kids", was released, which included several songs about adventures.
In 2020, another album (this time in Portuguese), “Novas Aventuras”, also included fun songs about adventures.

Projects in Russian

Pedro Hill has been interested in Russian music since the beginning of his musical career. In 2018, he recorded some Russian songs under the pseudonym "John Art", such as: "Моряк сошёл на берег" (Music by Arkady Ostrovsky and lyrics by Mikhail Tanich and Igor Shaferan) and "Ходит песенка по кругу" Feltsman and lyrics by Mikhail Tanich and Igor Shaferan).
In 2019, Pedro included several Russian songs (folk and folk songs) in his repertoire, such as: Kalinka (composer: Ivan Petrovich Larionov), Polyushko Pole (composers: Lev Knipper and Victor Gusev) and “Я очень рад, ведь я наконец возвращаюсь домой ”(Composer: Arkady Ostrovsky).
In 2019, Pedro composed the song "Россия" ("Russia"). Pedro is the author of the music and lyrics. This song is about a trip to Russia, where everyone enjoys it.
In 2020, Pedro composed the song "Я стану певцом России" (I will become the singer of Russia). Pedro is the author of the music and lyrics. This song is about Pedro's interest in Russian music and culture. Currently, Pedro continues to present Russian songs and compose songs in Russian.

Pedro Hill's first Russian release, "Я стану певцом России", is released.

Imagination Land

In 2018, three albums were released on the project: "John's Wonderful Music Vol. 1", "John's Wonderful Music vol. 2 ”and“ Wonderful Instrumentals and Lively Melodies ”.
In 2018, Pedro made several music videos for the "John Art" channel on YouTube.

Later, Pedro stopped recording under the pseudonym "John Art" and the project ended. He started recording and performing as "Pedro Hill". He started to sing more often and composed several songs on topics such as: adventure, friendship, fun, teamwork and good times.

In 2018, for Children's Day, Pedro Hill composed the song "Vamos Lá!" (music and lyrics by Pedro Hill). From this song, Pedro created the imaginary place “Imaginalândia” (English: "Imagination Land"). According to Pedro Hill, “Imaginalândia" is a distant planet, where everyone enjoys the adventures, with imagination and friendship. ” “Imaginalândia" was the theme of other Pedro Hill songs.
In 2019, Pedro made a new version of the song "Vamos Lá!", released on the single of the same name.
In 2020, Pedro made the Russian version of the song, "Давай Играть!".
Currently, Pedro plans to create the album “Imaginalândia”, which will include several new songs about the place.
